Bright AutoPlast State of the art, second plant at Chennai commences production
   
The second plant at Kancheepuram near Chennai was inaugurated by Mr. H J Shin Executive Director (Vendor Development) and Mr Amit Patel, Managing Director Sintex industries Ltd on June 25th, 2009.
  
   
 
   
The plant commenced manufacturing “under the hood” components using injection Molding and subsequently the Blow molding facility will also be added up. It will use its strategic location to service the existing clients like Hyundai, Nissan, Ford, TVS and major tier 1 suppliers like HANIL, Visteon, Mobis besides using this as manufacturing base for export orders from European tier 1 companies.
  
   
The plant is sized presently 5500 sq mtrs on a 6.85 acre plot. This is commencement of production of phase1 with auto component manufacturing and shortly the production for Electrical products will also begin for large MNCs who already are serviced thru other subsidiary in France Nief Plastic.
  
   
   
Bright AutoPlast signs off Technical Assistance Agreement with Daeji Metal Co Ltd (DMCL), Korea  
   
Bright AutoPlast signs off Technical Assistance Agreement with Daeji Metal Co Ltd (DMCL), Korea on the 10th February, 09. This technology transfer tie up for Bright AutoPlast, herald’s a shift from conventional aesthetic part supplies to a critically functional system supplier. Bright AutoPlast will manufacture and supply AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS (AIS) for small cars, to begin with. Bright AutoPlast has been mandated by General Motors India for supply of AIS for their prestigious “Global Mini Programme”. Bright AutoPlast will look at replicating this business model across locations with varied OEM’s.
